I wish to touch the basic recognition of the self, to cue sensations, reactions that call out to what it is that has compelled us to recognition even before we knew that we were being driven. There comes a time when an unexpected experience effects us and we are left amazed, searching out from which secreted locations in the ocean of the self such feelings are washed up. Such feelings deny the rational and find a more primal voice, one of fear and anticipation, both vertiginous and peaceful.

pragmatic physical description of typical work:

The sculptures are hollow-form, bronze fabrications. This classification defines the pieces as being created from sheets of bronze, fashioned into curves, arcs, angles and planes; shapes that through their dynamism create an enclosed and hollow space.
